Grand Canyon (photo by Zak Raml)

"After a full day of trekking, I decided to stop. I stood on the edge of the redwall, waiting for the sun to set so my camera lens could capture the magical colors as they blanketed the redwall cliffs while leaving shadows down below onto Surprise Valley. After taking my pictures and the sun set, I continued my trek to my next watering hole. I finally reached Thunder River under the moonlight, thirsty for water. It was a worthy challenge rewarded with those memorable Grand Canyon pictures! Each time I look at them I revisit the trail again!"
